Silly Film: UHF
| Posted in Film, Review, Silly Product

Where to begin? [tag]UHF[/tag] is simply one of the silliest movies in existence. (This may be why it is a favorite here at Silliness HQ.) Where else can you find a “Wheel of Fish” and an opportunity to “Drink from the fire hose”? Mr. Yankovic plays “[tag]George Newman[/tag]“, the man who cannot keep a job. This is largely due to his overactive imagination. One day George is offered the job of running the UHF station that his Uncle won in a game of cards. For once, George’s imagination comes in handy. Who else would think to have the janitor run the Children’s show? And who else would bring you Conan the Librarian? “[tag]Weird Al[/tag]” has created a comedy classic. We bow to him

All hail Al! It should be a double feature followed by the original Invasion of the Body Snatchers. This film stands with Kentucky Fried Movie and Amazon Women on the Moon for mocking television as it so richly deserves, but it’s family-friendly!
You see why we like it so much. We have Amazon Women on the Moon here, too. KFM is on the list.
