It is possible to [tag]translate[/tag] things a bit too much.
Seriously. [tag]Lost in Translation[/tag] takes something that you write, translates it to five different languages, and then back to [tag]English[/tag].
“Lost in Translation” becomes “Destroyed in the translation.” Try it yourself and see how mangled your phrase becomes.
