Anyway, you will notice a few changes around this blog/site in the next month or so. Among these will be a change of Theme, as the current one is…well…boring as heck.

Occasionally Silliness.org will post amusing anecdotes. These anecdotes are almost never factual in nature. If we receive a story that has been circling the Web, and it cracks us up, we post it for others to enjoy. If you feel the need to check out a story for its veracity, we find that snopes.com does a great job keeping the story straight, and is an excellent source of silliness in its own right.

1. We have installed a “Make a Donation” button in the sidebar, down below the categories and links. Thanks to the wonders of PayPal, you can make donations of any amount to help cover the cost of running this site. (Yes, even $.01)

2. We also have a Silliness.org shop at CafePress that you will find linked in our “links” section. Why not stop in and have a look around? You will find everything from a “Got Silly?” mug to a Journal of Silliness, with many T-shirts in between.

3. Comment, and send us silly things that you find in your travels around the ‘net.

4. Finally, feel free to tell all of your friends about us. And link us to your site…and Digg our posts… You get the idea.

Well, hello! Welcome to the new [tag]Silliness.org[/tag]. We hope that you will all enjoy the new rendition of this site. It will include daily updates for the first time in 8 years, and you can still access the archives from the sidebar. Don’t worry, it won’t just be “cool link of the day.” We will continue to offer silly e-mails circling the web, point out silly products, and we will begin to showcase the occasional silly video. Many thanks to our admin team for all of the hard work getting this blog set up! Let’s get started!
